Our owner, Ed Chiles, is featured in the below Leave No Trace video, brought to us by the Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.

We partnered with some of the Bradenton Area’s top conservation and sustainability leaders to illustrate how visitors can “Love it Like a Local” by embracing many of Leave No Trace’s principles including how visitors to our destination can Plan Ahead and Prepare, Dispose of Waste Properly, Leave What You Find, Respect Wildlife and Be Considerate of Others.

We’d like to thank our partners at Keep Manatee Beautiful, Captain Ben Webb and Anna Maria Island Dolphin Tours, Manatee County Natural Resources and Captain Jerrod McKenzie, along with Matador Network and Leave No Trace for this incredible partnership.

Making Waves In Southern Living

Southern Living Contributor Tracey Minkin recently wrote an article about Anna Maria Island. The Sandbar Restaurant was featured in the piece where Minkin said, “Dinner-time at the Sandbar restaurant is a revelation: a toes-in-the-sand spot with a stunning sunset view of the Gulf along with topflight locally sourced seafood and more.”

We are dedicated to improving each facet of our operation so that we create life-long relationships with our consumers. Check out our dinner menu and hours if interested in enjoying a drink and meal at our beachfront restaurant.
